We teased a new doctor and new story with a combination of special shoot footage and scenes from the series, creating a piece that introduces the miracle man—and the skepticism surrounding his impossible achievements.

In its second season, Dr. Death had a new subject: Dr. Paolo Macchiarini, an effortlessly charming surgeon. To tell the story of his manipulation, lies, and love, BOND partnered with Peacock on the strategy and high-impact social creative that would shoot him up to infamy.
In a time of uncertainty in the world of medicine, we were challenged to engage our prestige true crime fans while also navigating the sensitivities behind the real-life aspects.
As we highlighted the main character, we were able to set the bar with a new level of gripping premium content for Peacock and capture the essence of the unsettling, provocative series.
Making a Scene
In collaboration with the Peacock Social creative team, we used junket footage captured immediately after the SAG strike resolution to create custom long- and short-form edits giving audiences a behind-the-scenes look into this season, diving deep with the actors and their infectious love for this project.
The Two Sides of Paolo
This interactive TikTok ad unit garnered an immense amount of reach, as it was a top-view ad. When users opened their app, they were met with a cut highlighting the charismatic nature and charm of Dr. Paolo—but as the user was prompted to shake, the video revealed something more sinister beneath the surface.
Strategy
When crafting the strategy for Season 2 of Dr. Death, we analyzed Season 1 as well as the hit podcast that it was based off of to understand the key differences and similarities between the audiences. As a result, we were tasked with a new set of characters as well as a new storyline to activate on. As the campaign launched, we cut immersive social mashups, UGC spots, Podcast UI Wondery partnerships, and leaned into behind the scenes of our key talent to set the bar with an elevated level of content for Peacock.
