Series

For Peacock's new tentpole series, "Those About To Die," we built a campaign that turned audiences into spectators of the Roman Empire, invested in the amphitheater's events and tumultuous relationships. We set out to embody the grand scale and epic nature, distinguish the series in a competitive landscape, and cultivate an engaged fanbase, positioning Peacock as a destination for elevated entertainment.

Enter The Arena

Peacock’s Those About To Die brought users back in time to experience the spectacle and brutality of a gladiator battle, complete with levels and in-world details, all existing within a gamified TikTok lens. We emphasized the sporting event themes of the series, and allowed fans to insert themselves into the competition (and the Colosseum), resulting in a unique and impactful execution.

Using the most epic and action-forward moments from the series, we created a variety of content that drew users into the arena. We highlighted critic reviews in an elevated and premium way, showcasing the conflicting characters and their motivations. Our content hooked audiences on the drama and introduced them to the series.

Tenax Tours Those About To Die

We used Iwan Rheon's character's iconic opening monologue to guide fans through Ancient Rome with a seamlessly looping infinite video that breathes life into static 2D images. The sound of gladiators and charioteers alongside billows of dust and flickering lights create a fully immersive experience.

Reactive Content

Fan-focused engagement tactics continued to build the world of the series, with reactive content meeting our audience where they were and appealing to the relationships that kept them invested.
